Funding Circle US vs UK: Verify the Current Provider

Avoid using old Funding Circle US reviews or UK product terms for a current US business-loan search; verify creditor, servicer and application route.

For a US business-loan search using the Funding Circle name, verify the current provider before comparing products. Historical US reviews and current UK pages should not be combined into a present-day US rate or eligibility table.

Funding Circle's official sale announcement and its FY2024 report document the sale of its US business, completed in July 2024. That history does not, by itself, establish today's lender, servicing instructions or new-product availability for your situation.

Separate three tasks

If you already have a loan, use the verified account contact and your agreement to confirm servicing. If you want a new loan, verify the current application route and legal creditor. If you are reading a UK product page, do not assume its currency, legal terms or eligibility apply in the United States.

Rebuild the comparison with current offers

Write the cash need, permitted use and repayment source. Compare eligible US lenders using equal proceeds and timing. Do not retain an old Funding Circle rate as an available benchmark without current evidence.

For an existing account, a corporate transaction does not justify paying an unverified new destination. Confirm changes independently and retain payment records. This page does not say an existing debt was cancelled or that its terms automatically changed.

If the current identity or offer cannot be established, omit it from a live comparison until it can. A smaller verified shortlist is more useful than a longer table mixing countries, years and unrelated products.

A current-offer register instead of an old ranking

Create columns for country, legal creditor, product, quote date, usable proceeds, fees, payment dates and source URL. In an invented shortlist, one result is a historical US review, one is a current UK product and two are current US proposals.

Only the two actual US proposals should enter the current transaction comparison. The older and foreign rows remain research history, not available offers. If a $50,000 need is shown beside a sterling-denominated quote, do not convert it and assume the product becomes accessible.

For account servicing, keep a separate record with the signed creditor and verified payment route. A new-loan comparison table cannot establish how an existing account must be paid.

Questions to resolve before you choose

Can I use current UK rates for a US loan comparison? No. Country, legal entity and product eligibility differ.

Does the sale notice prove an existing loan’s payment instructions changed? No. Verify servicing instructions through the established account channel.

Primary sources and comparison scope

These primary pages were checked for the specific product or educational points discussed during November 1–2, 2026. Provider pages can change; confirm a current written quote and availability for your state. Source-check dates do not mean every provider updates its terms on the same day.
