Loan Comparator: Compare Loan Offers Side by Side

Line up EMI, total interest, fees, and grand total cost for every lender on the table, so the cheapest loan — not just the lowest EMI — is the one you pick.

Tips for comparing loan offers accurately

Match the tenure and method

Only compare loans on the same tenure and the same calculation method (reducing balance vs. flat rate) — mixing them makes the EMI numbers misleading.

Look past the EMI

A lower monthly EMI with a longer tenure can still cost more overall. Check the grand total cost card, not just the monthly number, before deciding.

Add every fee upfront

Processing fees and insurance change the true cost of a "low interest" loan. Enter them for each offer so the comparison reflects what you'll actually pay.

Check affordability, not just cost

Add your monthly income to flag any offer whose EMI eats up an unsafe share of it — the cheapest loan on paper isn't useful if it strains your budget.

Read the year-wise chart

Early payments on most loans go mostly to interest. The year-wise chart shows how fast each offer actually pays down the principal.

Keep a record before you apply

Export the comparison as a CSV or PDF, or copy a text summary, so you have the exact figures on hand when you talk to a lender.

Frequently asked questions about loan comparison

How do I compare two or more loan offers fairly?

Enter the loan amount, interest rate, tenure, and processing fees for each offer, using the same calculation method (reducing balance or flat rate) for all of them. Compare the monthly EMI alongside the grand total cost, since a lower EMI with a longer tenure can end up costing more in total interest.

Why do two loans with a similar interest rate show different EMIs?

Differences usually come from the calculation method (reducing balance vs. flat rate), the tenure length, or processing fees. Flat-rate loans charge interest on the full original principal for the whole term, which produces a higher EMI than a reducing-balance loan at the same stated rate.

What is the grand total cost of a loan?

Grand total cost is the loan principal plus all interest paid over the full term plus any processing fees or insurance. It reflects everything you actually pay back, which is usually a more meaningful comparison figure than the monthly EMI alone.

How does the affordability check work?

Enter your monthly income and the calculator flags any loan whose EMI would take up an unusually large share of it. Most lenders and financial planners recommend keeping total EMI obligations under 40–50% of monthly income.

Can I compare loans in different currencies?

The comparator supports major currencies from South Asia, the Middle East, East and Southeast Asia, the Americas, Europe, and Oceania. Select your currency once and all loan cards, charts, and exports use it consistently.

Can I export or share my loan comparison?

Yes. Use the Export CSV button for a spreadsheet-ready file, the Download PDF button for a formatted summary with the amortisation schedule, or the Copy summary button to paste the key figures into an email or chat.
